At 2:22 this afternoon, WLFD units along with Montvale FD under an AMA policy were dispatched to the Garden State Parkway for a reported MVA with entrapment. HFD was also dispatched as some 9-1-1 calls originally reported it in their jurisdiction. Chief 68-1 arrived and confirmed an entrapment at milemarker 168.9 and advised the Rescue Engine to put the tools to work on arrival. 68-Rescue Engine arrived and performed a full side removal on the passenger side of an upside down vehicle in thick brush. 1 patient was extricated with the assistance of 68-Squad, 27 Engine 2, M1 and transported by TBVAC. During this a second assignment was received in town which 68-Squad, 68-Truck, 27 Car 1 and 27 Rescue responded to. Chief 68-1 had Garden State Parkway Command.
