HFD Makes Strong Work of Basement Fire on Deer Trail

Tonight at 18:32, the HFD was requested to respond to a fire in a residence on Deer Trail. Chief 3 arrived on scene and confirmed the Working Fire which started our mutual aid companies. Engine 3 arrived shortly after, and would stretch 2 handlines in, which would ultimately extinguish the fire. Truck 3, as well as Deputy 3 and Captain 35-3 were on scene and assisted with extinguishment, search, vent, and overhaul. There were no injuries to either the homeowners or the members of the fire departments on scene.
